✈️🇦🇺 QANTAS Airbus A350-1000ULR PROJECT SUNRISE Test Flight Lands at Melbourne Airport in Australia [vkBTvoMbjI1]

Project sunrise is Qantas's ambition to connect Australia directly to world class cities too far for standard aircraft to reach, like New York and London without any stops. This ambition is huge and yesterday morning Melbourne Airport was selected as part of an Ultra Long flight test by Airbus to fly directly from Toulouse to Melbourne. I huge thank you to Melbourne Airport and their media team for providing the opportunity to film this historic event airside, but alongside that, we also managed to capture another angle of the arrival from the living legends homestead. The aircraft despite the lengthy flight was assigned to runway 27, and for those watching from abroad, that runway isn't very accessible, making this peice of media that much more special! Also joining me out on the field was Tom from TK's Plane Spotting, who captured some more fantastic footage of this aircraft. Toms video: Stay tuned for another 30 minute Melbourne Airport video tomorrow night and the departure video of the A350-1000 in a few days time!
